What a great pucking game..........

Hockey, the only sport we had really been bummed to miss out on in Canada so far in the trip. Yet, one visit to our hostel on our last 3 days in Canada, and on the door: "2 tickets for Canucks Hockey game Saturday night". Destiny awaited, our last night in Canada, ending an amazing journey, and we get to see everything Canadians are passionate about..............the hockey. What a game, fast, furious and tough. When watching it live you don't realise that after every pass with the puck, the guy passing that puck gets smashed onto the ice. Knowing that every time you touch the puck there is a fair chance you might die, does give these guys great kudos!! What a great pucking game.........

Whistler wonderland

The rich and famous come to this part of the world to wine, dine and ski. We came to snowboard, drink beer and play rock and roll bingo!! Whistler itself is amazing, a little fantasy land just north of Vancouver. Only riding for 2 days here we only covered one side of the mountain, but proceeded to get the best powder of the week!! In one little bar in town we proceeded to play rock n roll bingo, awesome, til we realised it hadn't stopped snowing for 3 hours!! In the morning 32 cm of fresh powder capped off a magnificent snow experience in the great white north.........
