Transition

This is another shot of the town of Banff. I wanted to show everyone what the backdrop to our little place is. Imagine these breathtaking mountains surrounding your every move. I make a special note of looking at them every morning before work to remind myself of our lucky we both really are. I will attempt to take this exact picture as the seasons change and see the transitions........

Athabasca Falls

These amazing waterfalls blew me away. The quiet of the river dives headfirst into a canyon below and the noise and spray are phenomenal. I have to say this is my favourite photo from our trip so far, not cause I'm in it, but because it shows how quiet, yet totally wild this part of the world truly is.

Wildlife

Wildlife in and around Banff is amazing. Although we are yet to see the elusive Bear, we took some photos of the local wildlife including this big fella here. All from the safety of a vehicle. It still freaks me out seeing deer and elk on the way to work.

Casa de Zomer

Our cosy little cabin. Everything we need. Kitchen, toilet, bedroom, TV, fridge and TV, I said TV didn't I?? We are definetly not in Keysie and Noble Park anymore toto..

Lake Johnson

This is Lake Johnson which is right near the town of Banff. Just another amazing part of an already outstanding piece of Canada.
